The 48th World Small Animal Veterinary Association (WSAVA) World Congress will be held in Lisbon, Portugal, Sept. 27 to 29.
For the first time simultaneously, the WSAVA World Congress will be combined with the Federation of European Companion Animal Veterinary Associations (FECAVA) EuroCongress, Ibero-American Federation of Veterinary Associations of Companion Animals (FIAVAC) Congress and Portuguese Association of Veterinarians Specialists in Companion Animals (APMVEAC) National Congress.
Speakers hail from Portugal, Germany, Nigeria, UK, Canada, Israel, China, Australia, Italy, Spain, China, Brazil, South, Africa, the U.S. and additional countries.

Master classes will be held Sept. 27 and 28 on "Modern Diagnostic Imaging in Small Animal Dentistry: 2D vs 3D Imaging" and "Occlusal problems in Cats. Diagnostics and solutions. How much do we miss?"
The congress will be primarily in English with four daily streams that will have simultaneous translation into Spanish and a dedicated Portuguese stream for veterinary nurses on the last day of the congress.
