IAAHPC 2023 - Fort Worth Sept. 28 - Oct. 1

Professor Temple Grandin and Dr. Mark Epstein will serve as keynote speakers for the 2023 conference of the International Association for Animal Hospice and Palliative Care.

Held in Fort Worth, Texas, the conference will offer four hours of sessions on the pre-event day (Sept. 28) for attendees who want to elevate their business acumen and learn more in the communication workshop.

Epstein will share three hours of detailed information on pain management with the latest in treatments for this important part of care for animals. Attendees will then have the opportunity to network throughout the evening with colleagues and sponsor partners during the Sponsor Stampede event to commence the conference.

Friday morning will begin with a breakfast and hands-on workshops, followed by a full day of learning sessions from industry experts. The day’s sessions will end with the annual Honoring Ceremony. Attendees will then have the opportunity to be transported to the wild, wild west and explore Fort Worth or spend the evening with friends.

Saturday morning begins just like Friday with hands-on workshops and another robust day of sessions. The first general session of the day will be honoring the animal hospice and palliative care graduates for their accomplishments. A delicious buffet of Texas style nosh will be served before the powerful keynote speaker, Professor Temple Grandin, takes the stage. Attendees will end their evening by participating in a book-signing event with Grandin.

Sunday wraps up the 2023 Paving the Way Conference. Lectures will be held during the morning, with the final presentation being the annual State of the IAAHPC. The Advanced Euthanasia Training Workshop rounds out the afternoon activity.
