Animal product company, Petco Health, and Wellness Company, Inc., has launched plant-based treats and alternatives to rawhide in two product lines. The plant-based jerky is offered by Clif Pet and the non-rawhide chews offered by Earth Animal’s “No-Hide” chews.

"Pet parents are increasingly looking for wholesome, eco-friendly, and tasty treat options for rewarding desired behaviors and promoting mental stimulation, during a time when we're even more eager to treat our pets and feel closer to them than ever before."
Clif Pet is a collaboration with the maker of Clif Bars. The jerky is available in sweet potato and blueberry, pumpkin and apple, and butternut squash and cranberry ingredients. The plant-based treats are made with seven ingredients, and with no artificial flavors or colors.

"Petco's commitment to sustainability and their efforts to prioritize brands that promote wholesome nutrition make this a great fit for us and for pet parents.”
Earth Animal’s non-rawhide chews come in chicken, beef, salmon, pork, venison, and peanut butter and are made of six ingredients, and a sustainably sourced protein, either chicken, grass-fed beef, wild-caught salmon, pork, free-range, grass-fed venison, or vegetarian peanut butter.
