Emergency and specialty veterinary care provider network, Veritas Veterinary Partners, has acquired two new practices. The pair will add to the network’s offerings and begin its foray in Colorado and California.
Details of the acquisition were not shared, however, the deal included purchase of two practices: Pet Emergency & Specialty Center of Marin (PESCM) in North Bay, California, and Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital in Greater Denver, Colorado.
“We are thrilled to welcome both PESCM and Wheat Ridge to the Veritas family as we continue to expand our partnerships with leading veterinary hospitals nationwide,” said Dr. Thomas Scavelli, founder and chief executive officer of Veritas. “Veritas is focused on bringing high-quality specialty and emergency veterinary care to communities throughout the country, and our commitment to investing in and supporting veterinarians and their staff is central to this goal. Both hospitals are highly regarded for their exceptional dedication to patient care, and we look forward to a collaborative partnership with their teams.”
By working with Veritas, veterinary facilities will have access to a countrywide recruiting network, greater resources for partners, continuing education opportunities, higher compensation and benefits, equity opportunity and capital, and access to funding for equipment and facilities.
