Zoetis Petcare Opens Voting for the American Humane Hero Veterinarian and Hero Veterinary Nurse Awards Behind every furry friend is a devoted veterinarian, who works long hours to assure your pet stays happy and healthy. To thank them, American Humane, the country's first national humane organization, announced that voting is now open in the eighth annual American Humane Hero Veterinarian and Hero Veterinary Nurse Awards™, sponsored by Zoetis Petcare.
Zoetis Petcare sees these awards as an opportunity to spotlight veterinarians and veterinary nurses for all their hard work. After reviewing over 300 nominees, a judging panel of veterinarians and animal care experts has narrowed it down to just 10 veterinary and veterinary nurses as finalists.
The winners will be honored at the 11th annual American Humane Hero Dog Awards, which is a two-hour special hosted on the Hallmark channel this fall. Animal lovers and veterinary supporters can vote every day, by visiting www.herovetawards.org. Voting is open through July 29, at 12 p.m. Pacific time.
