The South African Veterinary Association has teamed up with the World Veterinary Association to host the 39th World Veterinary Association Congress in Cape Town in April 2024.
Local and international delegates will meet at the award-winning Cape Town International Convention Center with the backdrop of the iconic Table Mountain.
The WVAC2024 will provide a unique and informative experience for veterinarians across all disciplines of the profession to explore the challenges that veterinarians face not only regarding the health and welfare of animals, but also our environment.
Abstracts will be accepted until Oct. 31, 2023. Learn more about the submission process on the event website. See also a list of 10 abstract themes to consider.
The congress will host leading speakers from around the world to present and discuss the latest knowledge and innovations in veterinary medicine, demonstrating the value of the profession for the public good in our rapidly changing world.
