Sploot Veterinary Care, founded in Denver in 2021, recently opened its second clinic in the Mile High City. The company also announced plans to open three additional locations in Denver by mid-2023, with 10 more clinics under development.
Sploot focuses on delivering convenient, pet-parent centric primary and urgent care, with the goal of offering 85%+ of care needs in one seamless, warm clinic experience, according to a news release.
In its first 10 months of operation, Sploot served over 10,000 pets across Denver.
"Today's pet parents - who treat their pets like family members - want what they're already experiencing elsewhere," said Gil Bolotin, co-founder of Sploot Veterinary Care in the news release. "They want convenience, excellent customer service, transparency. And that's what we provide at Sploot.
Three more locations are planned to open across the Denver area in 2023, and a total of 10 clinics are being developed.
"Every aspect of the Sploot experience is designed to provide an unparalleled care experience for pets and pet parents, whether it's the ease of booking online and tele-triage services available every day, or the fact that 95% of our pet parents can get same or next day appointments,” said Bolotin.
With its current and upcoming plans, Sploot intends to serve the entire metropolitan Denver area.
Yoav Mordowicz, co-founder of Sploot, said in an industry where burn out is a reality, the company is proud to have invested, from day one, in culture, career development and work life balance.
“If I had to point to one thing that's driving our growth, it's that - our people investment, and the team's resulting commitment to providing pets and pet parents with outstanding care," he said.
