Petco names trio of new wellness council members


Pet food and products company, Petco Health and Wellness Company, Inc., has welcomed three newcomers to its panel of independent experts, the Wellness Council. The group is tasked with guiding the company and educational initiatives toward optimal pet health. 

The new members are: adjunct professor of zoological and companion animal medicine at the University of Pennsylvania and exotic animal veterinarian, La'Toya Latney, DVM, DECZM, DABVP; Raymond Anthony, PhD, professor of philosophy at the University of Alaska Anchorage and advisor of ethics to the animal welfare committee of the American Veterinary Medical Association as well as the organization’s euthanasia panel; and Kemba Marshall, MPH, DVM, DABVP, SHRM-CP, avian medicine specialist and director of veterinary services at Land O’Lakes Purina Animal Nutrition Center.
