Greenies launches new supplements

Pet food and treats brand focused on dental care, Greenies, has launched a new line of supplements designed by animal nutritionists. The supplemental treats are intended to help pet owners improve their dogs’ health.

The line includes three options: Immune Health, Hip and Joint, and Skin and Coat supplements. The lines’ joint treats are made with glucosamine and chondroitin, skin and coat with omega-3 fatty acids, and immune health with vitamin C and E, and antioxidants. The items are only available online.

"The GREENIES brand is trusted in oral health, so it was only natural for us to expand to a new category, offering a product to help pet parents take a more active role in their pet's wellness," said Craig Neely, vice president of marketing at Mars Petcare, parent company of Greenies. "With new GREENIES Dog Supplements, pet parents can give their dogs this tasty, once-a-day soft chew, just as they would take a vitamin supplement themselves, and know they're turning health into something their pets
