Heart + Paw partners with GlobalVetLink

Digital animal health company, GlobalVetLink, has partnered with Heart + Paw to bring the company’s Compliance Assistant technology to veterinary hospitals in the Northeast United States. GlobalVetLink’s technology enables veterinarians and animal health practitioners, state authorities, diagnostic laboratories and other animal health officials to build, access, and monitor animal movement records with ease and efficiency.

Dr. George Melillo, co-founder and chief veterinary officer at Heart + Paw, said implementing the use of the software was integral in a continued focus to bring innovative solutions into Heart + Paw practices.

"As our pet parents significantly increased the demand for travel, we needed to streamline our process with GlobalVetLink,” he said.

Currently, the technology is being used by more than 10,000 veterinary practices and helps them to maintain compliant records. GlobalVetLink also can assist with travel documents to Hawaii or international destinations.

"We are thrilled to partner with Heart + Paw to bring our technology to their practices and their teams," said Daniel Levine, chief revenue officer at GlobalVetLink. "Being able to streamline the workflow for the practices allows the team to truly focus on health outcomes. As veterinary practices are faced with challenges from staff shortages, increased demand for pet travel, and continued demand for services, we are looking forward to assisting more practices who need to streamline their health certificate process."
