Animal Dermatology Group expands coverage to Dallas

Animal Dermatology Group, Inc. has acquired Animal Dermatology Referral Clinic, a practice servicing the Dallas-Fort Worth metro areas. The move brings together two organizations with more than 40 years of experience combined and a deep bench, according to a news release.

The Animal Dermatology Referral Clinic has four Diplomates of the American College of Veterinary Dermatology on staff.

Dr. Reid Garfield, one of the leaders at the Animal Dermatology Referral Clinic, said that the new partner’s focus and passion is the same, to care for and treat pets suffering from difficult dermatological conditions.

This partnership marks the Animal Dermatology Group’s fourth acquisition of 2022, after adding practices in in the northeast — New York, New Jersey — the southeast — North Carolina, South Caroline, Georgia, Florida — and Texas. The team has now grown to include 60 board certified veterinary dermatologists, dermatology associates and dermatology residents.

Steven Mrha, chief executive officer of the Animal Dermatology Group said the leadership from its new partners will help the company immensely. “We continually strive to provide best in class care and service to our patients, clients and veterinary referral partners," he said in the release.
