Zoomies pet app connects owners

Zoomies Pet LLC has launched its app to bring pet owners together across communities. The app, Zoomies: Your Pet Neighborhood, is intended to keep users up to date on local pet-oriented activities.
The launch comes after a huge uptick in pet ownership during and following on the pandemic. More than an estimated 11 million pets were adopted last year, acoording to Zoomies.
"We built Zoomies because we wanted a safe, fun, and helpful place for everyone that loves pets as much as we do. None of the politics or negativity found in other social networks, just 100% pure pet-centric joy!" said Curtis Simmons, chief executive officer and co-founder of Zoomies.
The app is designed to be a forum for pet owners across local communities to meet and communicate, to post about upcoming events for pets, highlight local businesses that serve pets, to send out alerts when pets have been lost, and to share information about volunteer activities. The app also has a feature for businesses who can make connections with local pet owners and sell products.
Zoomies also provides expert help with dog trainer, Sam Stocking, and veterinarian, Dr. Hunter Finn. The two can provide training tips and health management advice, respectively.
