Animal health manufacturer Midmark acquires Schroer

Schroer Manufacturing Company, manufacturer of equipment for animal health, has been sold to Midmark Corporation, manufacturer of medical, dental, and veterinary products. As a combined entity, the duo will offer an ideal designer and manufacturer of animal care products. The deal was advised by mid-market mergers, acquisitions, and debt advisory company, Livingstone.

Referred to a Shor-Line, Schroer, provides an array of animal health products, including anesthesia, scales, exam tables, grooming products, and surgical tables.

"Shor-Line is a well-respected company in the animal health market with a long history of customer service, innovation, and high-quality equipment," said Jon Wells, president and chief executive officer of Midmark. "The culture and values of Shor-Line very much reflect that of Midmark, and we are excited to welcome them to the Midmark team. Together, we can be a strong partner for our customers, offering the new approaches, innovative technologies, and proven solutions they need while working with them to create a better care experience for pets and their owners."
