Pet health firm, Vetsource, expanded its offerings to include data and insights, and client engagement to its solutions for customers. The company previously concentrated on providing access to prescriptions and other items to pet owners/customers on behalf of veterinary practices.
"As the veterinary market has evolved, we've recognized the need to expand our solution set to help our customers engage with their clients in meaningful ways and leverage data to improve compliance rates and revenue,” said Kurt Green, chief executive officer of Vetsource.” These services are a natural complement to our prescription management solution.”
The recent addition of tools to help veterinary practices is part of an effort to provide an overall infrastructure that brings together pharmacy, business service, and technological advancement. Vetsource’s movement into the sector comes after the company invested in two other entities, Vet2Pet and VetSuccess.
VetSuccess offers analytics, data services, dashboards, and reports to help veterinary practices understand the factors impacting their business and operational changes they can make.
"With our strong alignment on company culture and core values, VetSuccess is a natural fit to join forces with Vetsource," said Katie McClean, managing director at VetSuccess. "We're proud to apply our expertise to help Vetsource deliver a data-driven platform that simplifies workflows and fosters growth for veterinary practices, ultimately providing the solutions partners need to break barriers and build bridges that strengthen the human-animal bond."
Vet2Pet on the other hand offers an app that connects veterinary practices and their clients. Through the app, which can be customized to each practice, customers can manage appointment, text, receive reminders, refill prescriptions, and accrue rewards.
"Joining Vetsource will help us achieve the dream we've had for Vet2Pet since its inception. Veterinarians will now have access to sophisticated software that elevates the client experience, improves team efficiency, and helps practices retain their pharmacies,” said Dr. Stacee Santi, managing director at Vet2Pet.
