R&M to offer course on US and EU drug development June 21-25

Market analytics company, ResearchAndMarkets, will host a 5-day veterinary drug development in the US and EU course June 21-25. The “Working Through Veterinary Drug Development in the EU (European Union) and USA Training Course,” is designed to prepare attendees for the development of a veterinary therapeutic in the US and EU.

The course is intended for professionals who lack experience in veterinary medicine development, or any portion of the process, as well as those who have been through development but encountered issues in the past. Attendees at prior events included those in marketing, regulatory affairs, clinical and pharmaceutical scientists, and R&D.

The event will focus on how a comprehensive development program is structured and carried out as well as requirements for approval by both US and EU regulatory authorities, specifically creating a program that would allow for marketing authorization by both authorities. The multi-day course will also include process development, toxicology, pharmacology, project management, safety risk assessments, clinical development and investigations, and regulatory and marketing.
