PPV to highlight community efforts
Network of animal hospitals, People, Pets & Vets, will commemorate the accomplishments of local facilities with its “Unleashed in the Community” initiative. Highlighted efforts include volunteer time at animal shelters, holding drives to accumulate animal supplies, and working alongside local organizations to meet needs.
As a further extension of the endeavors of the Unleashed in the Community program, PPV is launching a new effort that seeks to bolster larger scale work. Called Bravado’s Campaign, the philanthropic effort is named for the company founder’s childhood dog.
As part of the campaign, the company has made a donation to aid the animals impacted by the invasion of Ukraine. "We are so honored and feel so fortunate that People, Pets & Vets recently donated $50,000 to the American Veterinary Medical Fund to help their cause of rescuing the stranded pets in Ukraine,” said Dr. Michael Murphy, veterinarian and founder of People, Pets & Vets.
“Due to the political unrest and citizens fleeing the country, millions of animals have been forced to fend for themselves, no longer receiving the care they need.”
PPV is a network of pet hospitals headed by veterinarians. Animal hospitals in the network are located in the southern and western United States.
