Opy brings practice management software to US

Payment solution company, Openpay Pty Ltd. has expanded to the US with Opy USA, Inc. The expansion includes the launch of practice management software, ezyVet. The service is cloud based. Beginning with the month of October, ezyVet will begin to offer the “Buy Now, Pay Later” option that Opy provides to pet owners.
"Owning a pet means that you have an extended member of your family, and it's heartbreaking to think about how many pet owners need to make painful decisions simply because they cannot afford an expensive treatment," said Brian Shinderman, chief executive officer of Opy and chief strategy officer of Openpay. "Opy removes those barriers by providing flat, predictable payments, with costs lower than most competitors, and with more time to pay. We are hopeful that our offering with ezyVet will provide consumers with the resources needed to focus on what matters most – optimal care for their loved ones."
Through the cloud-based system, pet owners can divide costs into regular payments. The service will be available first in Virginia, Michigan, and Ohio.
