Well-known brand, Petco Health and Wellness Company, Inc., has opened a flagship store for its premium brand, Reddy. Located in the SoHo neighborhood of New York City, the store is intended to serve as an edgy, curated, and exclusive-feeling shopping experience.
The store will offer pet gear from food bowls to beds and clothing. The brand is aimed at millennial pet owners who also want sustainably made products. In addition to merchandise, the store will have a lounge with wi-fi, areas for pets to try on apparel, water and treats for pets, an area to learn about and customize food, and an area for Instagram photos.
"Reddy's growth and popularity among active and trend-forward pet parents has been steady since launch," said Nick Konat, chief merchandising officer at Petco. "And it's only accelerated over the last 18+ months as millions of pet parents are exploring outdoor activities and taking their pets with them wherever they go. This first-of-its-kind boutique will continue fueling that exploration by giving New York City pet parents a hub to bond, recharge and find the latest must-have gear to style their best lives together."
