Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI): UK out, USA in.

The European Commission 'urgently' blocks imports of products from the UK due to HPAI outbreaks.

Opposite measure for the United States. Following the assessment of the US epidemiological picture, the European Commission has readmitted poultry products from areas of the United States that had been affected by outbreaks of highly pathogenic avian influenza to the EU. This concerned three outbreaks of HPAI that had occurred on poultry farms in New York state between July and August.
