About the ACVIM Forum

Since 1983, the ACVIM Forum has been the premier conference for advanced, specialist-level education in veterinary internal medicine. The 40th anniversary event takes place in Philadelphia, from June 15-17, with a Specialty Symposium June 14.

This year, the forum features more than 540 speakers, on topics ranging from oncology to lecturing in undergraduate and postgraduate veterinary education (is it dead?), hypocalcemia in dairy cattle, pulmonary fibrosis in dogs and cats, RNA and DNA vaccines in veterinary medicine, osteosarcoma research, translational medicine in cell and gene therapy, computer-based testing to assess competence of specialists, neuromuscular diseases and swine pharmacology for the large animal internist.
